Works great for medium dark roast so far. I'm doing RDT, slow feeding just in case
Nice grinder, I’m liking the single dose grinder. It’s very clean, no grounds all over my counter. So far no retention. Seems to work well with medium roast espresso beans.
Nice little addition, we use the plastic cup that came with it for measuring the beans and the metal cup for the grinded beans, nice machined lid fits perfect
So quiet that my wife didn’t know she had to turn it off and ran it for 4hrs straight. It got a little warm but still working great
I get perfect grinds every time. Two issues that kept me from giving 5 stars: 1) The grind-size wheel is very difficult to turn; and 2) the actual grinding process is fairly slow compared to other grinders. But, all in all, I’m extremely happy with the product.

Honestly a nice piece of equipment. It's quiet, well built, robust and stylish. This is definitely a step up from a Breville Smart Grinder.
My only complain is removing the wooden lid removes the bellows. They need to revise the design where the rubber bellows secures tightly to the housing so when you remove the wooden lid, the bellows doesn't come off.
No issues with retention yet. Metal cup is real nice, love the angle of the cup to prevent any particles from falling out.
This grinder works amazingly well! First burr grinder and the improvement in the quality of the coffee is shocking. The bellows is fun and useful.
It meets all the expectations I had after watching reviews on YouTube: uniform grind, no retention, great appearance, compact enough for my kitchen, and stylish. I am satisfied with the service from DF Grinders.
Unboxing was exciting. It’s clearly well made and feels professional. But even putting the grind on zero the grind is better suited for my drip coffee. It creates a very sour extraction. For drip coffee I highly recommend it. For espresso, look for something else.
